DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: Original glass lid and original cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew, and original wire that encircles the jar. The metal is in excellent clean shape, with the clamp retaining some of the original black paint.
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: has a reflective fissure in the shoulder as shown, but hidden by the sealing gasket, shallow chipping of the ground mouth
Embossing: strong
Base: "2"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce and a great looking example
