Availability: Scarce, made in a special run at the Ball Bros plant in Wichita Falls, Texas circa 1934. The jars were intended to benefit the orphanage during the Great Depression. One or a few of the jars were distributed to many local farms and homesteads who were willing to help, with the request to fill the jars during normal fall canning, to be used by the orphanage.
