DESCRIPTION
An aqua quart in the scarcer side-wire version, and this one is a beautiful example. Shiny glass with good embossing and a nice crude glass character. The all-original cast iron yoke, thumbscrew and wire clamp assembly is in fine shape with very little rust and some original black paint intact. The jar is in nice shape with no damage or stains. There is a tiny manufacturing flaw on the shoulder, with a small piece of extra glass stuck on the jar with small fissures at each end. Good ground rim with some minor flaking. Base: 4.
