DESCRIPTION
A deep, dark amber colored quart TRADE MARK LIGHTNING jar. The glass displays a good strong whittled effect. Crisply embossed and sparkling clean with no damage or stains. Comes with a scarce early style 2-date lid in the exact matching color. Original wire bail closure. On the base is "PUTNAM 54". Very unusual to find a dark amber jar in the early mold period.
