Color: BALL BLUE
Closure: scarce correct original iron band with some of the plating still intact, and correct original clear glass insert with 1900 patent date
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: minor flaking of the mouth
Embossing: strong, and note this version has the peened-out word "MASON" below PERFECTION
Base: shown
Age: c1914
Availability: Very scarce with original closure. There are probably 50 of these pint jars for every one with an original band.
