Size: QUART
Color: BROWN AMBER with darker amber swirls, there is no trace of green whatsoever in this one
Closure: zinc cap
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: minor nicking of the mouth
Embossing: Strong and uniform, which is rare to find in the off-colored examples of the Ball 3L series, which are notorious for weak and/or inconsistent lettering. This one is the rare exception.
Base: "VI"
Age: c1900
Availability: Extremely rare and one of the finest examples of a Ball 3L Mason that exists. The color is super deep, but still with enough transparency that the color displays great. A truly incredible jar that should fit well in virtually any collection of rare and colored jars, regardless of specialization.
