Color: STRONG AQUA
Closure: heavy applied grooved ring wax sealer mouth finish
Appearance: shiny exterior, with light content deposit
Condition: two surface flakes on the embossed "barrel bands" low in the back
Embossing: strong
Base: iron pontil scar
Age: c1855
Availability: scarce, this is the more rare version which has a tooled inner lip on the mouth, instead of a sheared lip, a great looking example of this primitive early jar in a nice rich color
