DESCRIPTION
An aqua quart+ sized jar that is busily embossed in 7 lines of block lettering: MANUFACTURED BY THE COLONIAL SUGAR REFINING COy LIMtd YARRAVILLE. And encircling the heel: MADE BY THE MELBOURNE GLASS BOTTLE CO. Shiny glass without damage or stains. The ground rim has the usual edge flaking from the making. Pontiled glass immerser lid that is embossed on the top: "COZENS & HARVEY PATENT". Base: unmarked. Measures 8-1/4 inches tall to the sealing ledge. A great looking old Australian jar.
