DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: AMETHYST tint
Closure: Original glass lid and a rotating iron yoke clamp. The clamp looks great, but on very close inspection turns out to be a clever replica. Looks old and original but is not.
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: manufacturer's roughness and chipping of the ground mouth all around
Embossing: very strong
Base: "S"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: uncommon and a very sharp-looking specimen
