Fits: virtually any Mason jar with a standard size mouth
Age: late 1800's
Availability: Uncommon lids in good shape. Often this earlier style cap is needed to fit earlier Mason jars which the later Ball & Atlas caps won't fit, since the earlier jars have a very slightly larger mouth size than 20th century Mason jars
