A medium amber shoulder seal jar embossed: "MASONS CFJCo PATENT NOV 30TH 1858" in a very scarce half gallon size. Shiny glass with good embossing and no damage or stains. Normal minor flaking of the ground rim. On the back side of the jar, the mold impression of a 1-inch circular slug plate is just visible. Base: "E457". Comes with a good CFJCo zinc cap. A great looking example and seldom seen in this size.
From the Philip Robinson Museum Collection.
