DESCRIPTION
An aqua half gallon embossed on the front: "Wm L HALLER CARLISLE Pa". Smooth base and an applied ring collar mouth. Comes with the scarce correct original 2-5/8" cast iron Willoughby stopple. The stopple is a superb example with very little rust and traces of the original black paint on top. Has an old black rubber gasket. The jar is also in fine shape with no damage other than one tiny rough spot on top of the applied ring. Base: unmarked. A fine example of this scarce early Penna jar.
