DESCRIPTION
A deep amber pint shoulder seal jar embossed: "MASONS (Hero Cross) PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". A choice example with brilliant glass, and good strong embossing. Fine condition with no damage or stains, with the exception of some shallow chipping along the top edge of the ground mouth. Base: "PAT NOV 26 67" encircling a "53".
