DESCRIPTION
An aqua quart embossed: "THE SCRANTON JAR". Correct original elaborate closure assembly with spring loaded arm and wooden spool. This closure design was one of only a very few patented closures that contained parts made of wood. Shiny condition with no damage or stains, with the exception of a small and faint fisheye defect as shown. The ground mouth has some edge chipping. Base: unmarked.
