DESCRIPTION
An early aqua quart embossed in boldly-raised lettering: "C. BURNHAM & Co MANUFACTURERS PHILADELPHIA". Sparkling condition without damage or stains. Correct original cast iron ring in beautiful condition with much of the original black paint still intact and all the lettering clearly readable. Even the gutta percha insert gasket is present, although the entire perimeter edges of the gasket under the ring are chipped away. The jar has an excellent ground mouth with very little flaking. Base: unmarked.
