A clear free-blown clear (colorless) quart+ sized jar which displays a fantastic swirled character from top to bottom as shown. Pushed-in open pontil scarred base and a tooled mouth that is ground flat on top to permit sealing with the knob-handled glass lid which is also ground flat on the bottom surface. The jar is in brilliant condition with only some flaking on the top of mouth. The glass stopper has some small edge flakes, and is embossed "F&J McKEE PITTSBURGH Pa". A great looking piece of early glass that displays beautifully in a window.
