An approximate gallon-sized clear glass product jar embossed on the front inside a circular reserve: "GREAT AMERICAN COUGH DROPS". Independent Jar style glass screw cap closure with embossed 1882 patent date. The jar has no damage, but shows some content staining on the interior. Base unmarked. Measurements are roughly 10 inches tall by 5-3/4 inches in base diameter. Extremely scarce.
