Size: HALF GALLON
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: original glass lid with built-in wrench lugs and 1866 patent date, which threads into the screw band
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: small open bubble on the threads, normal edge flaking on the ground mouth
Embossing: strong
Base: "WHITNEY GLASS WORKS GLASSBORO NJ"
Age: c1870
Availability: scarce early jar and a fine example
