DESCRIPTION
A medium amber quart embossed on the front with a Hero Cross emblem above: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". On the reverse side is a large circular slug plate impression as shown. Sparkling glass and good strong embossing, and no damage or stains throughout. Excellent ground mouth with very little nicking. Comes with the correct Hero zinc cap. Base: "PAT NOV 26 67" encircling mold number: "280". A very scarce Hero Mason variant.
