Closure: original glass lid and original heavy iron wire clamp
Appearance: sparkling glass with a nice light whittled effect
Condition: no damage, has a bubble below the ground lip that has some trapped canning residue
Embossing: strong
Base: "PATd MAR 10th 1868" encircling a "39"
Age: c1870
Availability: scarce and a great looking example
