A deep aqua half gallon, embossed on the front in two lines of block lettering: "THE RESERVOIR". Applied ring collar mouth, and the neck is blown with two indentions to accept the original hollow blown glass stopper with juice hole. Both the jar and the glass stopper are in fine shape, with no damage or stains. Base: "C&I"....for Cunningham & Ihmsen of Pittsburgh. A great looking example of this appealing early jar.
This item is from the Philip Robinson Museum collection.
